Appearance-
The appearance of Strength card shows a lady dressed in a robe with a tiara on her head, she tries to open the mouth of a lion that in unchained with her bare hands. She has a sign of infinity over her head signifying her strength coming from the universe.
She wears a flowery belt that signifies the natural freshness in her attitude despite of her strong abilities. A female is usually delicate and is associated to weakness among the genders. But here the sae female is shown holding an unchained lion, which itself is a very brave deed. A lion is very difficult to hold on even for bravest and strongest of men, but here lion is showed calmly standing next to this woman. And not just that the female tries to open the mouth of the Lion with her bare hands, the lion is unchained which itself shows how dangerous it can be to handle that creature but she also tries to pull open its mouth with her bare hands. Her attire shows she does not have any weapons that might help her if the lion attacks her. Yet she has the daring to do such a brave act.
The lion too is shown calm and allowing the lady to open her mouth.
Meaning-
The Fool that was a child and an immature soul till now(in the 1st phase) is a grown up and the first lesson life gives him is that of Strength. Life would bring lot of problems as mighty and deadly as the Lion but the Fool has this strength to handle them. This fool is each and every soul who is on this planet. And every fool will have the strength to conquer his problems. As this is the first lesson of life for every soul who sets foot in the outer world once grown up.
The card suggests strength in the face of weak times. You have to be strong if you were facing troubled times or times making you weak. The circumstances may appear to be tough and in-conquerable yet they are "tameable". You just need to increase your will-power.
The situation though appearing tough it is tameable, the problem will readily give up in front of you. You only need to take action or a brave step forward to handle it.
