Five of Swords

Appearance -

The card shows that a man is standing with swords in his hands and few lie at his feet, also below his feet; he shows a grin which comes after winning in a war. There are two people shown in the background which makes us feel they are defeated by him.

Meaning-

The five of swords first of all means that there is winning in a situation, an argument or a war where you proved your intellect to be true. You defeated others in the argument, this card may show an upcoming situation where you are concerned and the result would be in your favor. The card shows a man already winning by fighting which means that you have to fight the war in order to win it.
You may have developed an attitude where you always want to fight and win over a situation. The people around you might be getting hurt because of this attitude. You can loose sometimes inorder to win somebody's heart. Showing your intelligence always isn't much great. This card may also point out that you may have problems in your life because of you always wanting to appear superior and win over people in any situation. You may humiliate them just to make you appear smarter.
This card also promises you that you will win over a situation and so you have to keep your grounds and stay rooted to your truth. You will be supported only if you stand firm on our grounds. Your past situations might have beed unjust but the appearance of this card affirms that you will get a chance to defeat your enemies and prove your point.

On the contrary this card also shows that you might get defeated by somebody who just wants to prove themselves right. You maybe depressed because of such 'let-down' by them but this is not your let down, they are putting down the relationship just by satisfying their egos, in a relationship reading this card shows a red light to immediately take action if you are always made to feel 'defeated' or either this could be you who always wants to take the charge or dominate by proving yourself right. This will just make your partner fret away.

Reversed-

The reversed of this card shows that a time where you might have a conflict that has passed away or has been avoided, which is good.

This card may also show that you don't take your side when people try to fight with you or dominate you. You need to stand for yourself. Your life might be having problems due to this. You will continue to have problems till you dont sort out this behavior Every person has to take care of their own selves and when you don't do it nature punishes you by sending difficult people around you, who will continue to torture you until you discard this behaviour.

There are also chances that the people you have defeated are not done with you yet, they will again turn up to you and attack. You might think that they are gone and already have started to celebrate the victory.

Take your side when people are trying to defeat you for the wrong reasons, stand firm to your grounds especially when you are right.

If you are not getting the joy of winning then you are not in the right competition. Do what your heart pleases to do.
